This is an opportunity to develop your research career, knowledge and skills in one of the UK’s leading applied social research centres.
You will be a beginning researcher with demonstrable interest in the focus of work of the contextual safeguarding programme and/or wider work of the International Centre (www.beds.ac.uk/ic). You will have strong organisational skills, be productive under pressure and have the ability to write concisely, fluently and accurately. You will also need to demonstrate strong relational/networking skills and a good working knowledge of IT.
You will possess a good first degree, beginning knowledge and experience of mixed methods research, a commitment to research as a way of improving public policy and services, and a commitment to understanding the worlds of both people who use public services and of practitioners.
